COOKING LESSONS
This is an opportunity to cook and taste Gambian dishes
Most popular dishes are
Domoda ( peanut sauce)

Fish /Beef Benechin (fried rice with vegetables)
You go the local market with my wife and do the shopping together.
Cook together at home. Here you are taught how to make Gambian dishes in traditional style.

This is a tour that bring you into direct contact with the real Gambia outside the tourist areas. Markets, people,wildlife etc.
DAY 1
Early morning pick up (7am)
First stop at the brikama local market where you will interact and experience the local women who comes to wholesale their vegetables.enjoy the haggling over the prices
Tea break
At the Abcas Creek lodge,we will stop for a tea/coffee break or breakfast (not included)
From their proceed to Soma and lunch break in kudang/Soma.
Off road drive through Fulani local villages ,pass communities and huts built from grass huts.Drive through the beautiful wetlands and giant BAOBAB trees.Chance to spot wild pigs,Baboons, red colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys etc.
Hill top trekking overlooking the only fishing Hamlet and wetlands.
Perhaps highest point in Gambia.
Boat trip in the river Gambia national Park to spot hippos, chimpanzees,monkeys etc.
Travel upriver on the north and south bank to see Gambia on all sides and track the nomads(April to May). Overnight in Bansang River side lodge.

Tour of George town historical places
The dilapidated slave house built by freed slaves. The Canons etc
Cross to the North bank.
Visit the Stone circles
The weekly Nomads market (only on Mondays)
Lunch at the kauren Hill top restaurant
Cross the bridge to the south Bank and the drive back to the hotel
